Took a little family trip (the first in over 4 years) to Villa Escudero Resort in San Pablo, Laguna. We got to ride a carabao (water buffalo) carriage while being serenaded, go to ride a bamboo raft, had a delicious buffet lunch at the bottom of a waterfall with our feet under water, and watched an impressive cultural show performed by the staff themselves. It was a pretty awesome day with the fam.
I’ve always wanted a full manual SLR, and now I finally have one! The beautiful Nikon FM along with a Nikkor 50mm f/2 AI-S has now joined my family of Canon gear. The body is fully operational except for the built-in light meter, which is no longer accurate, so I’ll be forced to shoot with the ‘Sunny 16′ rule. Time to pop in some film and start shooting!
COMING SOON: My portfolio website is still under construction (sigh!) but I’m really hoping to get it done before the end of the year. Also, I’m planning to create a separate personal blog for more ‘everyday’ photos. Once both are up and running, I’ll hopefully be shooting and posting material more frequently, so stay tuned!
